What We Do

Be Resilient

Be Resilient

Cancer is an expensive illness. Be Resilient offers financial aid to help offset some of the added and unexpected expenses that young women can incur during cancer treatment.

How funding works

Our Mission

Our goal is to financially assist young women with cancer ages 18-35.

How we can help

Money can be given to aid in paying a portion of any of the services below.

  • Cold Capping: using a cooling cap or device that reduces the hair loss caused by some types of chemotherapy.

    • Cold Capping is so much more than not losing your hair. Cold Capping not only has potential to aid in self confidence, but allows for a sense of privacy during a difficult time. Madi did cold capping and found it to be benefical to look in the mirror and not automatically feel like a cancer patient.

  • Wigs

  • Fertility: medications, egg retrevial, IVF, and egg or embryo freezing.

    • Perserving your ability to have a child in the future is important to some. Madi went through one round of egg retrevials. Her and husband, Zach wanted to have the option of their own biological child.

  • Childcare

  • Other patient specific needs
